Hockey India League 2025-26 Tickets to Be Free for Fans

Hockey India has announced that tickets for the upcoming Hockey India League (HIL) 2025-26 will be free for fans who want to watch the games. The Women’s HIL will kick off on December 28th in Ranchi and end on January 10th. The Men’s HIL will start on January 3rd in Chennai, then move to Ranchi from January 11th, with the final leg taking place in Bhubaneswar from January 17 to 26.
Ticket sales for the Ranchi leg of Hero HIL have begun today at 1100 hours, while tickets for Hero Men’s HIL Chennai will be available starting Wednesday at 1100 hours. Hockey India aims to bring the sport to every corner of the country and make it more accessible to its dedicated fans.
Dilip Tirkey, the chairperson of the Hockey India League governing committee, stated, “We have decided to offer free tickets once again for hockey fans to come and enjoy all the matches in Chennai, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar. The women’s matches will be held in Ranchi, while the men’s HIL will be played in three cities. We want the hockey stands to be filled with fans eager to see their favorite stars in action. This season will feature some of the world’s top players, and we are excited to witness some fantastic hockey over the course of a month.”
Bhola Nath Singh, a member of the Hockey India League governing committee, shared similar sentiments, saying, “Hero HIL will be a month-long celebration of hockey, and we invite hockey fans to come watch #hockeykajashn. Our goal was to expand the fanbase for our sport across different regions, and we anticipate packed stadiums throughout the season.”
The upcoming Hockey India League will feature eight men’s teams and four women’s teams, with both leagues offering fast-paced and exciting games through their newly revamped formats.
