The much-anticipated horror thriller film ‘Granny’, directed by Vijaya Kumaaran and featuring veteran actress Vadivukkarasi in the lead role, is set to hit screens on January 30. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has already given the movie a U/A certificate for its release.
Actor Vijay Sethupathi recently unveiled the film’s title as ‘Granny’ on January 8. The title poster, shared by Sethupathi, showcases Vadivukkarasi in a haunting appearance, portraying an elderly woman holding a lantern and a staff, with silhouettes of children and spirits in the background. This intriguing poster has piqued the interest of viewers, building anticipation for the movie.
Apart from Vadivukkarasi, ‘Granny’ will also star actor Dhileepan and actress G V Aparna in significant roles. The film’s technical aspects include cinematography by A Manikandan, music by Chellaiah Pandian, and editing by M S Gopi. The art direction is managed by PBK Mahendran, and stunts are choreographed by Action Prakash in this horror thriller co-produced by T Saravanan.
