M M Baig, who began his career as an assistant to renowned directors like J Om Prakash and Rakesh Roshan, later ventured into independent filmmaking. Notable works by Baig include the unreleased “Massom Gawah” starring Naseeruddin Shah and “Chhoti Bahu” featuring Shilpa Shirodkar.
