Violence against civilians in Balochistan persists, with human rights organizations revealing the extrajudicial killing of two civilians and the enforced disappearance of two others allegedly by Pakistani forces. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee disclosed the recovery of the body of 22-year-old driver Mujahid, who was missing for over 10 days, near the Chakul area in Panjgur district. Mujahid was reportedly taken by Pakistani forces from the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor Road area in Panjgur.
The BYC emphasized the lack of information provided to Mujahid’s family during his disappearance, urging transparent investigations into such cases. In a separate incident, 33-year-old Gul Badeen Notezai was killed by the Pakistani Army in the Dalbandin region of Chagai District on June 17. The BYC expressed serious concerns about the safety of civilians in the region following Notezai’s killing.
Baloch Voice for Justice highlighted the enforced disappearance of two Baloch youths by Pakistani forces. Adil Baloch, a 21-year-old labourer, was taken from Quetta on June 6, while 18-year-old Ubaid Baloch was disappeared from Dalbandin on June 14.
