As violence escalates in Balochistan, a human rights organization revealed the extrajudicial killings of two civilians and the enforced disappearance of five others by Pakistani forces. The Baloch National Movement’s Human Rights Department disclosed that Pakistani forces, including the Frontier Corps and intelligence agencies, along with a state-backed death squad, conducted a raid in Panjgur district, resulting in the disappearance of three brothers and their nephew. One of them was later found dead.

The victims, identified as Owais Ahmed, Bakhteyar, Irfan, and Bilal, were subjected to severe torture during the operation. Owais Ahmed, the nephew, was reported to have sustained serious injuries and was later found dead with visible signs of torture. The whereabouts of the three brothers remain unknown. Additionally, a student named Hassan Khalil was forcibly disappeared during a separate raid by Pakistani forces in the same region.

The human rights organization highlighted the case of Taimoor, a 26-year-old whose mutilated body was discovered in Surab district after being forcibly disappeared by the Frontier Corps. Another individual, Imdad Baloch, from Turbat city, was also forcibly disappeared by the Pakistan Army and Counter Terrorism Department. The Human Rights Council of Balochistan expressed concerns over the harassment and profiling of Baloch students across Pakistan, emphasizing the need for their rights and safety to be protected.
