Hyderabad police apprehended three young individuals for presenting narcotics as a tribute to Lord Shiva during Maha Shivratri. The Charminar Zone Task Force police acted promptly following Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar’s social media alert about a video created by the trio.

The accused, residents of Jangammet in Falaknuma, were handed over to the Falaknuma police for further legal procedures. Among them, two were identified as Sri Charan and Vijay Krishna. Commissioner Sajjanar cautioned the youths that social media popularity is fleeting and cannot shield them from legal consequences.

Sajjanar emphasized that exhibiting drugs in front of a deity is unacceptable and vowed severe repercussions for such actions. He stressed that engaging in such behavior jeopardizes their future and urged them to channel their creativity positively on social media platforms.
