New Delhi, Aug 8 (IANS) Starting from Sunday, the CISF will further intensify security checks for passengers across the Metro stations in view of the enhanced security arrangements ahead of Independence Day, a DMRC official said.

Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director, Corporate Communications, DMRC, advised passengers to plan their journey by factoring in the additional travel time that may be required for the enhanced security checking and long queues during peak hours.

Dayal, in a statement, said the enhanced security might result in long queues at some Metro stations, especially during peak hours till August 16.

“Therefore, passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly and allow for some additional time for their commute during these days. Passengers are requested to cooperate with the security personnel during security checks,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Metro has started collating responses received from commuters under its month-long “12th Online Customer Satisfaction Surve – 2026” launched on July 15.

The main objective of the survey is to collect feedback from the commuters on various components of Metro services and facilities.

Customer satisfaction feedback will be obtained from participating commuters on individual topics with a comprehensive questionnaire. The survey will also seek suggestions for improvements.

Commuters who wish to participate in the Survey can visit DMRC’s official website www.delhimetrorail.com and submit their inputs by clicking on the given links placed on the home page of the website.

The Survey forms will be available in both English and Hindi. The survey includes seven topics on which the feedback is sought.

The survey links on all the topics will be available on DMRC’s website for one month only, for filling up by the participants. The survey will conclude after one month on August 14; passengers will be able to give their feedback on important aspects of Metro functioning such as: Availability & Accessibility; Facilities offered to customers; Information; Quality of Services; Customer Services; Outside Metro Area and Security, Safety & Comfort.

The Delhi Metro is organising this survey to find out what passengers think of the services being provided to them. The results of the survey will be helpful for assessing and making necessary improvements in various components of the Metro facilities and services based on the feedback received, said a statement.
