He highlighted the significant presence of over two thousand German companies in India, showcasing their enduring confidence in the country’s potential.

Both countries align on key priorities in renewable energy and climate action, fostering a shared vision. In line with this, the establishment of the India-Germany Centre of Excellence aims to bolster cooperation by facilitating knowledge exchange, technology sharing, and innovation.
A notable green hydrogen project involving firms from both nations is anticipated to revolutionize the energy landscape, as emphasized by PM Modi. Collaboration extends to enhancing supply chain security, underscoring joint efforts to develop reliable and secure systems. Additionally, the leaders have committed to advancing partnerships in sports and education, aiming to foster connections among youth and strengthen academic bonds through a new higher education roadmap.
Chancellor Friedrich Merz emphasized the significance of finalizing a free trade agreement between India and the European Union to unlock the full economic potential of India-Germany relations.
