India and Israel are collaborating on artificial intelligence (AI), climate innovation, and digital transformation to address real-world challenges, such as resilient agriculture and future-ready skills, as per an official statement. The Embassy of Israel in New Delhi has announced the upcoming participation of a high-level Israeli delegation in the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’.
Led by Ilan Fluss, a former Ambassador and EDTs Policy Coordinator at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation includes senior government officials, technology leaders, researchers, and policy experts. Their aim is to deepen cooperation between Israel and India in areas like artificial intelligence, climate resilience, ESG investment, digital governance, and responsible innovation.
“At a time when artificial intelligence is reshaping the global order, India and Israel have a joint responsibility to lead with innovation guided by ethics,” stated Fluss. The partnership signifies the advancement of technology alongside human values. The Israeli delegation’s visit to the India AI Impact Summit marks a significant milestone in bilateral relations, emphasizing co-creation in AI, deep tech, and digital public goods as a means of fostering global cooperation.
Israeli delegates will engage in high-level discussions and bilateral meetings focusing on AI applications for climate adaptation, precision agriculture, digital public infrastructure, workforce transformation, and ethical governance of emerging technologies. The agenda also includes exploring innovative ESG models, impact investment strategies, and public-private partnerships to promote inclusive and sustainable growth.
Maya Sherman, Innovation Attache at the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, highlighted, “India and Israel envision technology that prioritizes people. The Impact Summit underscores the strong bond between our ecosystems and our dedication to inclusive, ethical innovation that meets societal needs.”
Leading up to the Summit, the Embassy organized various side events to facilitate dialogue between Israeli and Indian stakeholders from academia, industry, and government. Throughout the main Summit events at Bharat Mandapam, the Embassy aims to collaborate with key institutions and partners, including the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar (IIT-Ropar), Dhirubhai Ambani University, and tech policy think-tank The Dialogue, to further enhance bilateral engagement in AI and emerging technologies.
