The first Australia–India Defence Ministers’ Dialogue took place in Australia in October 2025, showcasing significant progress in the bilateral defence partnership. Marles expressed anticipation for the meeting with Rajnath Singh, highlighting the strong progress made during Singh’s previous visit to Australia. Australia and India are recognized as top-tier security partners, aiming to further enhance their defence partnership.
