India has taken a significant step in enhancing its energy security by launching an LNG vessel from a US terminal. The vessel, named Energy Fidelity, was sent off on April 20 from the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal by India’s Consul General in Houston, D.C. Manjunath. GAIL (India) Limited, the company behind this move, sees it as a crucial part of India’s global energy strategy and its long-term LNG shipping plans.
This 174,000 cubic meter LNG carrier, Energy Fidelity, symbolizes India’s progress in establishing a resilient and future-ready energy infrastructure.
