India is taking steps to secure its energy needs by expanding import sources beyond West Asia, stated Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Despite regional geopolitical tensions, Puri assured the public that domestic gas supplies remain stable.
During an informal media interaction, Puri highlighted that India is maintaining energy imports from various sources and supply routes to ensure fuel stability in the country. The government has implemented measures to guarantee uninterrupted fuel supplies for households and key sectors.
Puri emphasized that the government is committed to providing uninterrupted and affordable energy to households nationwide. He mentioned that there is no shortage for domestic consumers and urged against panic, stating that proactive measures are in place to safeguard India’s energy security.
