The India International Conference on Democracy & Election Management (IICDEM 2026) revealed its logo, emphasizing the significance of citizens in democracy. Scheduled at Bharat Mandapam from January 21, the three-day international conference is organized by IIIDEM under the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Director General Rakesh Verma of IIICDEM highlighted the conference’s theme as “Democracy for an inclusive, peaceful, resilient, and sustainable world.” The event aims to foster collaboration among election management bodies, establish a common vision on global challenges, and exchange best practices and innovations.
The logo showcases stylized human forms resembling protective hands, symbolizing citizens as the democracy’s foundation and the collective duty to uphold democratic principles. It serves as the official visual identity of the conference, embodying democracy’s core values like participation, institutional integrity, and international cooperation.
The color scheme of the logo, featuring Deep Sea Blue and Apple Juice, signifies institutional credibility, transparency, citizen engagement, and inclusivity. With India positioned at the center, the logo underscores India’s role as the host nation, the world’s largest democracy, and a leader in global election management practices.
