The much-anticipated India vs. Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup 2026 will continue as planned at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Defending champions India have started strong in the tournament, securing wins against the United States and Namibia. Meanwhile, Pakistan faced initial challenges against the Netherlands but bounced back with a victory over the USA.

India and Pakistan have a long-standing rivalry in T20 World Cups, often meeting in the same group in past editions. Historically, India has dominated these encounters, winning seven out of eight matches played between the two teams in the T20 World Cup, with Pakistan securing a single victory in 2021. Additionally, India has a strong track record at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, winning 11 out of 15 T20I matches played at the venue since 2009.

The upcoming match is under the threat of rain, with Colombo facing a 76 percent chance of rain during the day and a 13 percent chance in the evening, accompanied by 100 percent cloud cover. The high-stakes encounter is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, at 7:00 PM IST at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Viewers can catch the live action on the Star Sports Network for TV broadcast and JioHotstar for live streaming.
