India has firmly rejected the inclusion of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement between Pakistan and the European Union. The Ministry of External Affairs emphasized that Jammu & Kashmir is an internal matter of India and outsiders should refrain from commenting on it. This comes as Pakistan continues its efforts to internationalize the issue, despite India’s consistent stance that it is an internal matter.
The Indian government reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir, along with Ladakh, are integral parts of India and no external entities have the authority to intervene in these matters. Last week, India also criticized similar references made in a joint statement between China and Pakistan. India’s stance remains unwavering, asserting that Jammu and Kashmir are and will always be an integral part of the country.
India’s position on the status of Jammu and Kashmir has been clear and consistent, with the government emphasizing that no other nation has the right to interfere in these internal affairs. The Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are firmly established as integral and inseparable parts of India, according to the Indian government.
