India extended condolences to the affected Afghan families, wishing a swift recovery for the injured and reaffirming its unwavering support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Taliban Deputy Spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat confirmed that at least 36 civilians, including women and children, lost their lives, and 163 others sustained injuries in Pakistani military airstrikes across Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar provinces in Afghanistan. Fitrat reported that the attacks, conducted by Pakistani forces, resulted in the destruction of three residential houses, with specific details of casualties in different locations provided.
Fitrat detailed that Pakistani forces’ airstrikes in various Afghan villages caused significant civilian casualties, including the deaths of women and children. The attacks led to the destruction of residential properties and inflicted injuries on numerous individuals. The Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid also criticized the Pakistani airstrikes, labeling them as cowardly acts of aggression, further escalating tensions in the region.
