India is set to host Bharat Tex 2026, the country’s largest global textile event scheduled from July 14–17, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event aims to showcase India’s prowess in textiles, fashion, sustainability, technology, innovation, investment, and international trade. It is expected to attract over 7,000 buyers and 1.3 lakh trade visitors, featuring more than 20,000 textile products and exhibitions spread across 1.6 million sq. ft., fostering significant commercial engagements.
Organized by Bharat Tex Trade Federation in collaboration with Textile Export Promotion Councils, Industry Bodies, and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, the third edition of the event will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders. Participants will include manufacturers, exporters, global buyers, brands, sourcing consultants, investors, policymakers, states, international delegations, designers, artisans, start-ups, and technology providers.
The program will include over 350 speakers from 20 countries, an International Pavilion, and contributions from eight sponsor states and nine exhibitor states. With more than 1,600 exhibitors presenting the complete value chain across various segments like fibre, yarn, fabric, apparel, fashion, home textiles, technical textiles, and ancillary industries, the event aims to highlight India’s textile clusters, including Tirupur, Ichalkaranji, and Ahmedabad, among others.
Moreover, the exhibition will feature international exhibitors from 14 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, South Korea, South Africa, and Nepal. The International Pavilion is structured to enhance global participation and facilitate cross-border engagement, with eight Sponsor States and nine exhibitor states and UTs participating in the event.
The program will host numerous knowledge sessions, including panel discussions, roundtables, master classes, State sessions, and other specialized formats, covering themes such as trade and investment, technology and innovation, sustainability and circularity, fashion, and craft, among others.
