The Integrated Operational Centre (IOC) also featured during the event, emphasizing the success of Operation Sindoor. This operation demonstrated the coordinated efforts of the Indian armed forces, guided by national and military leadership. Inter-service coordination and local support were crucial to the mission’s success.
Operation Sindoor was characterized by the fusion of ‘VIRASAT, VIVIDHTA AUR VIKAS,’ highlighting its unique features. The operation saw the use of BRAHMOS missile systems, Akash missile systems, and the S-400 air defense network to protect civilian populations. Divyastra and Shaktibaan were displayed under the Combat Support Elements segment, showcasing the Indian Army’s focus on indigenization and technological advancement.
The next-generation unmanned warhead capability of India was demonstrated through SHAKTIBAAN and DIVYASTRA systems. These systems, mounted on specialized HMV 6×6 platforms, represent a significant advancement in technology-driven warfare. The Ministry of Defence highlighted the platforms’ ability to deploy swarm drones, long-range drones, and loitering munitions for battlefield engagement.
Lieutenant Raman Mishra and Subedar Kiran Medar commanded the Shaktibaan and Divyastra vehicles, respectively, showcasing the professionalism of Indian Army personnel. Operation Sindoor, conducted in May 2025, resulted in the neutralization of over 100 terrorists in response to a terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.
