The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait recently visited Indian nationals at a hospital following an attack on Kuwait International Airport. Ambassador Paramita Tripathi went to Jaber Hospital to meet with the individuals injured during the incident on June 3, 2026. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait disclosed that out of the 13 Indian nationals hospitalized, all but four have been discharged, with the remaining four still under medical care.
The embassy reported that Ambassador Tripathi inquired about the well-being of the injured individuals and assured them of the embassy’s full support and assistance. It emphasized that close communication and coordination are being maintained between the embassy, the hospital, and the families of the victims. Dozens of people sustained injuries, some severe, when drones and missiles targeted the passenger building (T1) at Kuwait International Airport.
Following the attack on June 3, the Embassy of India in Kuwait confirmed the unfortunate death of an Indian national. The embassy extended its deepest condolences for the loss and stated its commitment to providing support to the bereaved family and those injured in the tragic incident. Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the “brutal and ongoing Iranian attacks” involving ballistic missiles and drones. The strikes, which included the targeting of civilian and vital facilities like Kuwait International Airport, resulted in casualties, damage to facilities, and loss of life.
