Composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1875, ‘Vande Mataram’ from his novel Anandamath became a powerful symbol of independence, inspiring generations with its patriotic fervor. The upcoming Republic Day Parade will integrate 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’ with India’s military prowess, featuring advanced defense platforms like BrahMos and Akash missiles. The parade will also showcase rich cultural diversity through 30 vibrant tableaux, promising a grand display of military might and a spectacular cultural performance.
