In a heartwarming gesture, the Indian Army’s Central Command assisted a civilian woman, Anjana Bhatt, and the daughter of a deceased Territorial Army officer in reclaiming her ancestral home from trespassers in Uttar Pradesh. Anjana, who lacked family support, regained possession of her home with the aid of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Major Vishal Kanaujia, her foster guardian.

Major Vishal Kanaujia’s unwavering dedication and legal efforts, supported by civil authorities, played a pivotal role in ensuring Anjana’s rightful ownership of the property. The Central Command praised his commitment, highlighting the Army’s ethos of standing for justice and serving with compassion.

Anjana, left vulnerable after losing her family and home, found solace and care under the Indian Army’s Madhya Uttar Pradesh Sub Area in Lucknow. The Army’s support provided her with dignity, protection, and a sense of security, reflecting its commitment to assisting those in need.

At the Southern Command, a new health facility for veterans was inaugurated in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, aimed at offering advanced medical services and support to veterans and their families. The facility, equipped with modern amenities, underscores the Army’s dedication to providing quality healthcare and welfare services to its veteran community in the region.
