The Indian Embassy in the UAE has reported that three Indian nationals sustained injuries in the recent attacks in Fujairah. The Embassy is coordinating with local authorities to ensure the affected individuals receive necessary medical attention and support. UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced what it termed as “unprovoked Iranian aggression” involving missiles and drones.
The Ministry has acknowledged that the attacks resulted in injuries to three Indian nationals as a consequence of Iran’s actions on civilian sites. It has strongly criticized Iran’s behavior as an act of aggression directly threatening the security, stability, and territorial integrity of the UAE. The Ministry highlighted that these attacks violate international law principles and the United Nations Charter.
Stressing the UAE’s commitment to safeguarding its security and sovereignty, the Ministry asserted its right to respond to such unprovoked attacks to protect its citizens, residents, and visitors in compliance with international law. Emphasizing the immediate cessation of hostilities, the Ministry called for a halt to the attacks and full adherence to peace agreements. The statement attributed full responsibility for the attacks to Iran.
UAE’s Ministry of Defence disclosed the launch of four cruise missiles from Iran towards different areas in the country. The Ministry confirmed successful interception of these aerial threats, leading to sounds heard in various parts of the UAE. The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) issued a warning regarding a missile threat, advising the public to stay in safe locations and follow official alerts for updates.
