Zara, ranked World No. 287, has had notable achievements in various golf tournaments. Accompanied by Guntas Kaur Sandhu, Ananyaa Sood, and Jia Kataria, the Indian team is geared up for the prestigious event in New Zealand. Zara expressed gratitude to the Indian Golf Union for providing such international exposure to amateur players like herself.
Guntas Kaur Sandhu, another talented golfer in the team, had a successful domestic season with multiple wins on the IGU circuit. She is optimistic about her performance at the tournament, citing the confidence boost gained from competing against top golfers. Jia Kataria, a US Collegiate golf scholar, and Ananyaa Sood, a winner of various championships, complete the strong Indian team for the competition.
