Recently, India excelled at the Asian Lacrosse Games in Riyadh, securing gold in both the men’s and women’s Sixes events.
As India gears up for upcoming tournaments like the 3rd Asian Lacrosse Games in Chengdu and the Asia-Pacific Sixes Lacrosse Championships in Australia, Reddy, a law student and former hockey player, shared his journey into lacrosse. Discovering the sport while exploring disciplines associated with global multi-sport events, Reddy found his passion for lacrosse and its potential on the Olympic stage.
With a background in hockey, Reddy swiftly climbed the ranks and led India to a historic victory at the Asian Lacrosse Games within three years. Beyond personal achievements, Reddy envisions lacrosse as a tool for creating a lasting impact by building a strong system from grassroots levels. Despite challenges like limited infrastructure and awareness, Reddy and his team dedicate significant time each month to promote the sport.
