Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, took part in a Yoga session organized by the Indian Embassy in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, in preparation for the International Day of Yoga 2026. Singh emphasized the significance of yoga in promoting overall health, mental well-being, and harmony with nature, reflecting timeless values that inspire millions worldwide.
The event, attended by members of the Indian community, Friends of India, and yoga enthusiasts in Tajikistan, aimed to highlight the benefits of yoga. Singh, who arrived in Dushanbe for an official visit, engaged in discussions with Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, to enhance bilateral cooperation in various mutual interest areas.
During the meeting, Singh discussed strengthening India-Tajikistan relations and invited high-level participation from Tajikistan in the upcoming SCO Civilizational Dialogue in Kolkata. He reiterated the enduring friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries, emphasizing India’s commitment to its partnership with Central Asia and the SCO.
