The Indian High Commission in London hosted a yoga session at Holland Park with the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” In partnership with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the event marked the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) and aimed to promote health and balanced living through yoga.
Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Zimbabwe also celebrated the 12th IDY at Victoria Falls, emphasizing harmony and wellbeing within the community. Similarly, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a gathering at Louvre Abu Dhabi saw diplomats and over 1000 yoga enthusiasts coming together to commemorate IDY 2026 under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
In Kazakhstan, the Embassy of India, along with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre and local partners, organized a grand event at the Astana Arena, attracting more than 2,000 yoga enthusiasts. The event highlighted the growing popularity of yoga in Kazakhstan and strengthened cultural ties between the two countries.
Additionally, in Tajikistan, a diverse group of over 500 yoga enthusiasts, including members of the Indian community, athletes, students, and officials, united to celebrate the universal message of health, harmony, and well-being conveyed by yoga.
