Indian motorcycle racer Kavin Quintal, part of the EasyRace Team, had a stellar start to his 2026 Copa de España de Velocidad season at the Circuito de Jerez. Quintal, aged 21, secured two podium finishes in the Superbike 1000cc category during the championship’s opening round. He finished second in Race 1 and clinched a third-place finish in Race 2, showcasing his competitiveness in the field.
His success followed a strong qualifying performance where he secured the second-fastest time with 1:45.549. Quintal’s impressive races saw him narrowly miss the top spot in Race 1 and secure another podium finish in Race 2.
Joining the EasyRace Team earlier this year has proven fruitful for Quintal, as he impressed with a fourth-place finish in his superbike debut in 2025. This year, he signed up for a full season with the team, providing him access to top-notch technical support and BMW machinery for the competitive European championship.
Expressing his satisfaction with the season’s start, Quintal acknowledged the team’s efforts in helping him settle in quickly. He emphasized the need to continue learning and improving to consistently compete at the forefront while representing India on the global stage.
