Indian Naval Ship Sudarshini, as part of the SAIL4th 250 New York and SAIL Boston events, has left for New York, showcasing India’s dedication to maritime partnerships and its deep maritime legacy.
During its stop in Baltimore, INS Sudarshini engaged in various high-level interactions, including hosting Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra and Maryland Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller, and took part in the Baltimore City Parade.
The Ministry of Defence highlighted the vessel’s arrival at the Port of Baltimore, emphasizing the strong maritime ties and cooperation between the Indian and US navies.
As part of the Lokayan 26 expedition, INS Sudarshini completed a significant journey from Kochi to Norfolk, covering over 13,000 nautical miles in five months, symbolizing India’s maritime traditions and commitment to global friendship and trust.
