A 26-year-old Indian-origin man, Gurbhej Singh, was fatally stabbed in Southall, west London, near North Road and Dormers Wells Lane. The incident occurred around 00:30 hrs outside a shop, leading to a murder investigation by the Metropolitan Police. Singh succumbed to his injuries at the scene despite medical efforts.
Police responded to reports of the stabbing and found another injured man at the location. The second man, in his 30s, received hospital treatment and has been discharged. Seven men, aged between their early 20s and late 30s, were arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene. Following inquiries, six were released, while one remains on bail.
