Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal revealed that India’s toffee exports have soared by almost 166% since 2013-14. The export numbers for toffees, caramels, and similar sweets escalated from Rs 49.68 crore in FY2013-14 to Rs 132 crore in FY2025-26. Minister Goyal expressed delight in the growth of India’s toffee exports, emphasizing the global appeal of “Made In India” toffees.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented a pack of Melody toffees to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during his Rome visit.
