India will be represented by Olympians Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Raiza Dhillon, and Mairaj Ahmad Khan at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Indian contingent aims to bounce back after a medal-less performance in the previous leg in Tangier, Morocco. The Almaty event is the second of four Shotgun World Cups this year and will see 284 shooters from 42 National Olympic Committees participating.

A 20-member squad has been selected for the Almaty competition, with eight shooters competing for Ranking Points Only (RPO). Notably, there have been some changes in the lineup compared to the team that competed in Morocco. Asian champion Naruka, who missed the previous leg, will lead India’s challenge in men’s skeet alongside experienced Olympian Mairaj. In the women’s skeet event, Raiza will be at the forefront of India’s campaign.

In the men’s trap discipline, there are changes in the team composition, with Bhowneesh Mendiratta, Prithviraj Tondaiman, and Kynan Chenai not included this time. Vivaan Kapoor will be responsible for India’s aspirations in this category. The stakes are high as winners of each event will secure qualification for the ISSF World Cup Final in Rome, Italy, scheduled for December.

For those interested in watching the ISSF Shotgun World Cup, the finals will be live-streamed on Olympics.com, as the event will not be broadcast on any TV channel in India.

The Indian squad for the ISSF Shotgun World Cup 2026 includes Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Gurjoat Singh, Mairaj Ahmad Khan, Bhavtegh Singh Gill, and Abhay Singh Sekhon in men’s skeet. In men’s trap, the team comprises Ahvar Rizvi, Vivaan Kapoor, Shapath Bharadwaj, Ali Aman Elahi, and Udaivir Singh Jaijee. The women’s trap team consists of Pragati Dubey, Neeru, Manisha Keer, Vidhi Singh, and Varsha Varman. In women’s skeet, Parinaaz Dhaliwal, Ganemat Sekhon, Raiza Dhillon, Rashmmi Rathore, and Vanshika Tiwari will represent India. Additionally, a mixed team trap includes Ahvar Rizvi, Pragati Dubey, Vivaan Kapoor, and Neeru.
