India’s digital platforms, including the National Single Window System (NSWS) and Government e-Marketplace, have accelerated business operations from inception to growth, as per the government. These platforms have enhanced market accessibility and financial liquidity for numerous enterprises. The NSWS alone has issued more than 8,29,750 approvals from various central departments and states.
Moreover, the MCA21 Project, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), is reshaping India’s corporate sector by boosting transparency. With features like e-Scrutiny and e-adjudication, MCA21 has processed around 3.84 crore filings between 2021 and 2025. The Udyam Registration Portal has facilitated 7.71 crore registrations, supporting nearly 34 crore jobs by February 12, 2026.
The Udyam Registration Portal offers a user-friendly, paperless system for MSMEs, integrating seamlessly with tax and GST databases. This integration ensures a smooth, digital experience, eliminating paperwork and bureaucratic obstacles. The government emphasizes that by aligning national and state platforms, India is providing entrepreneurs with a transparent and efficient path to business growth.
Furthermore, the Government e-Marketplace has evolved into a digital procurement hub connecting sellers nationwide, including women entrepreneurs, startups, and small enterprises. In the fiscal year 2026, the platform has facilitated orders worth over 4 lakh crore, with an order volume exceeding 60 lakh. Notably, auctions on the platform have generated over Rs 2,200 crore from December 2021 to November 2025, involving thousands of bidders and auctioneers.
India’s administrative landscape has undergone a digital transformation with streamlined approval processes at central and state levels through unified portals. Additional platforms like PARIVESH and e-Gram SWARAJ Portal have further enhanced transparency, reduced costs, and simplified compliance procedures.
