World No. 1 Minakshi and veteran boxer Deepak will lead India’s team at the World Boxing Cup 2026 (Stage 2) in Guiyang, China from June 15 to June 21. The Boxing Federation of India has selected a squad that includes experienced athletes and rising talents in both men’s and women’s divisions. India ranks highly globally in various categories, showcasing its strong presence in international boxing.

The tournament presents Indian boxers with an opportunity to earn crucial ranking points and sustain their competitive form. BFI President Ajay Singh emphasized the significance of the World Boxing Cup as a platform for Indian athletes to challenge themselves against top global competitors.
