India’s N. Sriram Balaji and Austria’s Neil Oberleitner secured the men’s doubles title at the Terega Open Pau Pyrenees in Pau, France. Competing as top seeds, they defeated second seeds Jakub Paul and Matej Vocel in a thrilling final that lasted 77 minutes. The duo claimed victory in a super tie-break after splitting sets with their opponents.

Balaji and Oberleitner dominated the opening set, winning comfortably at 6-1 by breaking their opponents multiple times. However, Paul and Vocel fought back in the second set, leading to a deciding super tie-break. The match intensified as both pairs battled fiercely, with the top seeds eventually prevailing after a tense final phase.

This win marks Balaji and Oberleitner’s third ATP Challenger title as a team in 2026. Their successful season began with victories at the Nonthaburi Challenger II in Bangkok and the Bahrain Open in Manama. Balaji, a seasoned doubles specialist, adds his 16th ATP Challenger doubles trophy with this victory, showcasing his prowess in the field.

The Indo-Austrian pair’s strong chemistry and consistency on the Challenger Tour have been evident throughout the season. In Pau, they demonstrated dominance by reaching the final after defeating various opponents, setting a positive tone for their future tournaments on the international stage.
