India’s young talent, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, attributed his remarkable performance in the tri-series final against Sri Lanka A to sticking to his game plan rather than succumbing to external pressures. Sooryavanshi, at just 15 years old, emphasized that his capabilities extend beyond T20 cricket, showcasing his prowess with a stunning 94 off 29 balls, setting a new record for the fastest fifty in List A cricket.

Reflecting on his strategy, Sooryavanshi highlighted his focus on maximizing the fielding restrictions early on and executing his pre-planned approach. Despite the spotlight on him due to his standout IPL season and tri-series contributions, Sooryavanshi remained unfazed by external expectations, concentrating instead on refining technical aspects that needed improvement.

Addressing perceptions of being a T20 specialist, Sooryavanshi emphasized his experience in playing 50-over cricket and the diverse challenges it presents. His performance not only silenced critics but also underscored his adaptability and skill across formats, culminating in a memorable victory for India A.
