India’s men’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh has been confirmed as part of the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s schedule for international matches in 2026. The itinerary also features series with Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia, and the West Indies in all three formats. The BCB stated that this schedule will offer fans in Bangladesh the chance to witness high-quality cricket matches at home.
India’s tour, initially planned for August 2025, has been rescheduled to September 2026 due to political unrest in Bangladesh. According to the BCB’s plan, India is set to arrive in Bangladesh on August 28. The ODI series is set to begin on September 1, followed by matches on September 3 and September 6. The T20I series will start on September 9, with games on September 12 and September 13 before India heads back.
Pakistan will visit Bangladesh in March for a three-match ODI series from March 12-16. New Zealand’s tour will include three ODIs starting April 17 and as many T20Is from April 27 to May 2. Pakistan will return in May for two Tests as part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle, with matches scheduled from May 8-12 and May 16-20.
Australia’s white-ball tour will begin on June 5 with three ODIs, followed by a three-match T20I series from June 15-20. After hosting India, Bangladesh will play a two-match Test series against the West Indies in October and November. Additionally, Sri Lanka ‘A’ team is set to tour Bangladesh in May 2026 for matches against the hosts ‘A’ side, including two four-day games and 50-over matches.
