Indore’s Mango Jatra, part of the Malwa Utsav, delighted crowds with the famous Hapus mangoes from Devgad and Ratnagiri. The event, organized by the Marathi Social Group, attracted many visitors keen on savoring these renowned mangoes.
Mohan Yadav, a participant at the fair, hailed it as a symbol of national unity and farmer support. He generously pledged a financial aid of five lakh rupees to the Lok Sanskriti Manch, emphasizing the importance of such events in connecting farmers directly with consumers.
The festive ambiance was enhanced by folk dancers welcoming attendees and stalls showcasing local crafts and cuisines. Yadav interacted with mango growers, commending their efforts in bringing top-quality mangoes to Malwa. He stressed the significance of such fairs in ensuring fair prices and fresh produce for consumers.
The Mango Jatra, featuring mango-based treats, handicrafts, and Khadi products, has evolved into a unique marketplace blending culture, commerce, and community. The event, now in its Silver Jubilee edition, received accolades for promoting India’s cultural diversity through various performances.
