Infosys CEO Salil Parekh refuted claims of any Infosys employee being detained or deported by US authorities. During the Q3 earnings conference, Parekh clarified that while one employee was denied entry to the US a few months ago, there was no detention or deportation involved. He dismissed online reports as incorrect.

The denial came after a viral post alleged that an Infosys employee from Mysuru working in the US was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. The post claimed the employee faced travel back to India under escort and public humiliation during flights. Infosys has denied these allegations.

Infosys reported a decrease in voluntary attrition to 12.3% in the December quarter of FY26, down from 13.7% in the same period the previous year. The company’s headcount grew to 337,034 employees by December 31, 2025, reflecting a net addition of 5,043 employees.
