Political figures like Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria encouraged more participation in yoga classes to reap its benefits fully. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also marked the occasion by performing yoga in Champawat. Spiritual leader Swami Chidanand Saraswati praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for popularizing yoga worldwide.

Various regions, including Prayagraj and Bhopal, witnessed unique celebrations and acknowledgments of yoga’s significance in uniting people and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and Kerala Mission Director Anu S. Nair highlighted the mental and physical benefits of yoga, emphasizing its importance as a significant contribution of India. The National Health Mission in Kerala organized mass yoga demonstrations across nearly 700 centers, showcasing the widespread participation and enthusiasm for yoga in the state.
