Iran criticized the US for attacking commercial ships with Indian crew members, leading to the deaths of three Indians. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson expressed condolences to the victims’ families and urged the global community to hold the US responsible for its actions. The spokesperson described the attacks as examples of America’s aggressive behavior and called for an end to such incidents.

India has raised strong objections to the US Navy’s assaults on ships with Indian sailors in West Asia. The Ministry of External Affairs in India emphasized the importance of the welfare of Indian seafarers and condemned the ongoing attacks. India called for a halt to the violence and advocated for dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace in the region. The country also highlighted the need to ensure the safety of its seafaring community worldwide.

The recent incidents involved foreign-flagged ships, not owned by India, in West Asia. The Ministry of External Affairs reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the well-being of Indian seafarers globally. India’s strong protest against the attacks underscores the nation’s concerns about the safety and security of its seafaring community. The country emphasized the importance of dialogue and peaceful resolutions to prevent further escalations in the region.
