Iran conducted renewed attacks on US Gulf allies after the US Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out another round of strikes on Iran. Explosions were reported in Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces, as well as in Yazd province. The US CENTCOM stated that the strikes targeted surveillance sites, military infrastructure, weapons storage, and maritime capabilities.
More than 50,000 American service members are currently stationed in the Middle East, as per the US CENTCOM. Iran’s state media reported three fatalities and eight injuries due to the recent US strikes. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced targeting the US naval fuel support pier in Kuwait and the US combat aircraft site in Bahrain.
Jordan’s air defense systems intercepted Iranian missiles, Bahrain thwarted several aerial attacks, and Kuwait experienced a fire at a power plant post-Iranian assault. The IRGC warned countries hosting US forces to anticipate “corresponding responses” if their territories are used for attacks on Iran. Iranian officials expressed determination and unity in the face of aggression.
Iran’s military adviser to the Supreme Leader cautioned that prolonged US aggression could lead to an offensive phase. He emphasized that Iran has shown restraint to prevent escalation but warned of expanded military capabilities deployment if necessary. The advisor criticized the US for escalating tensions and risking a broader regional conflict.
