Iran has issued a stern warning, stating it will retaliate decisively against what it perceives as repeated breaches by the US. The country’s Consul General, Saeid Reza Mosayeb Motlagh, emphasized that Iran had previously exercised restraint but is now compelled to react to US actions targeting its interests and bases in the region. He affirmed that Iran has already taken actions in response to such provocations and intends to respond firmly to make the aggressor regret its actions.
The Consul General highlighted Iran’s commitment to dialogue and negotiations but criticized the US for its lack of dedication to these principles. He mentioned that if the US continues its violations, Iran will be forced to respond through military means and on the battlefield. Iran has also addressed concerns regarding maritime security by restricting passage in certain areas to ensure the safety of vessels and crews amid unstable conditions.
Iran reiterated its pursuit of regional peace, stability, and prosperity while expressing disappointment over the impact of repeated violations on regional security and the well-being of people in the region. The country emphasized its efforts towards these goals and its commitment to working for peace in the region despite the challenges posed by ongoing tensions.
Despite the escalating situation, Iran affirmed its willingness to engage in talks with the US to address the issues at hand.
