Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted the crucial role of adhering to agreed obligations and their precise execution in determining the success of the ongoing talks with the US. Pezeshkian stated that any statements made outside the agreed framework could hinder the progress of the negotiations.
The recent discussions in Switzerland aimed at advancing the implementation mechanisms under the agreement, focusing on paragraphs 1, 5, 10, and 11 of the memorandum of understanding. It was mutually decided that expert and technical-level discussions would persist to ensure the effective implementation of the war-termination agreement.
The negotiations, which led to a memorandum of understanding to end the conflict between the United States and Iran, included provisions related to the cessation of war and military operations by the Zionist regime in Lebanon, the export of Iranian oil and petrochemical products, and the release of Iran’s frozen assets. These agreements are seen as facilitators in the process of fulfilling reciprocal commitments.
