Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed that Iran does not desire conflict with Muslim nations, emphasizing a stance against war. He attributed recent tensions with Arab states to actions by the United States and Israel. Pezeshkian proposed establishing a security structure involving Middle Eastern Muslim countries to promote regional peace and stability.
Pezeshkian underscored Iran’s commitment to peaceful resolutions, highlighting the country’s opposition to nuclear weapons development. He mentioned a religious decree by Iran’s former Supreme Leader prohibiting the pursuit of atomic arms. Despite Iran’s stance, he noted US efforts to portray Iran as a nuclear threat.
Following joint attacks by Israel and the US on Iranian cities, resulting in casualties, Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes on Israeli and US targets in the region.
