Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned of deploying undisclosed military assets if the conflict with the United States and Israel persists, as reported by the semi-official Fars news agency.
According to IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi, Iran has yet to utilize its full capabilities, intending to reveal unknown strengths if the hostilities continue.
Iran’s Defence Ministry spokesperson Reza Talaeinik highlighted the country’s growing military prowess, emphasizing the availability of missiles, drones, weapons, and ammunition for both offensive and defensive operations in the future.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei criticized the U.S. for attempting to block the Strait of Hormuz, labeling it as a deliberate act impacting the global economy.
Negotiations between Iran and the United States in Islamabad over the weekend aimed at de-escalating tensions in the Middle East ended without an agreement, following a recent ceasefire after 40 days of conflict involving Iran, the U.S., and Israel.
The U.S. military has initiated a blockade of Iranian ports and coastal regions, permitting only non-Iranian vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, with President Donald Trump warning of severe consequences for any Iranian ships approaching the blockade.
Trump emphasized the destruction of a significant portion of Iran’s navy and issued a stern warning that any ships challenging the blockade would face immediate elimination.
