Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with four of his relatives including his daughter, grandchild, and son-in-law, was reportedly killed in airstrikes conducted by the US and Israel, as confirmed by Iranian state media. The news was also shared on Truth Social by former US President Trump, who hailed the event as a significant opportunity for Iranians to take back control of their nation. Trump described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in History” and emphasized the impact of the strikes on Iran’s leadership.
Trump further mentioned that the joint operation with Israel successfully targeted Khamenei and other leaders, leading to a significant disruption within Iran’s security and military forces. He warned that those seeking immunity now would face dire consequences later. The former President claimed that the country had suffered extensive destruction within a short span, attributing it to the demise of Khamenei and the associated leadership.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had also hinted at Khamenei’s fate, suggesting that there were indications of his demise without explicitly confirming it. Netanyahu mentioned the destruction of Khamenei’s compound but refrained from providing a definitive statement on the Supreme Leader’s status.
