Ireland chose to bowl first after winning the toss against West Indies in the Women’s T20 World Cup. West Indies, aiming for a semifinal spot, have performed well with three wins out of four matches. Hayley Matthews is a key player for the West Indies team, showcasing skills with both bat and ball.

Shemaine Campbelle has been a reliable batter for West Indies, scoring 150 runs. Chinelle Henry’s half-century against England highlighted the team’s middle-order strength. Aaliyah Alleyne and Matthews have taken eight wickets each, with spinners Afy Fletcher and Karishma Ramharack providing control in the middle overs.

Ireland, having lost all previous matches, will play for pride. Captain Gaby Lewis leads with 128 runs, while Orla Prendergast has contributed 118 runs and five wickets. Aimee Maguire leads Ireland in wickets taken with four.
