Actor Ishaan Khatter expressed his feelings on social media following the Oscars loss of his film “Homebound.” He posted behind-the-scenes photos and videos on his official Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message. Reflecting on the film, Ishaan described it as a piece of his heart that led them on an introspective journey beyond their comfort zones.

Expressing his appreciation for director Neeraj Ghaywan, Ishaan conveyed his deep respect and trust for him. He thanked everyone involved in the film’s creation and praised their dedication. Despite the setback, he emphasized the enduring impact of “Homebound” and its message of hope and resilience.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, director Neeraj Ghaywan, and actor Vishal Jethwa also shared their disappointment on social media. The movie “Homebound” did not secure a nomination in the ‘International Feature Film’ category at the 98th Oscars. The final shortlist includes films from Brazil, France, Norway, Spain, and Tunisia, with the awards ceremony scheduled for March 15 in Los Angeles.
