Netanyahu also commented on the recent removal of International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan. He criticized Khan for alleged misconduct, stating that the move was an attempt to divert attention and gather anti-Israel sentiments. Netanyahu emphasized the need for a thorough review of the situation.
Furthermore, Netanyahu revealed that he had a conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio assured Netanyahu of the US’s firm stance against the International Criminal Court. Netanyahu praised this stance, highlighting the importance of supporting democratic states’ sovereignty and security against what he described as a corrupt bureaucracy in The Hague.
