Prithviraj Kapoor, a key figure in Indian cinema and theatre, started his acting journey during the silent film era. He went on to become a prominent face in Hindi cinema, leaving a lasting impact. The actor passed away on May 29, 1972, in Mumbai after a battle with cancer. Notably, he was part of India’s first talkie film, “Alam Ara,” released in 1931.
